OMEGA provided construction engineering services for the Illinois Department of Transportation on the reconstruction of US 34 from Big Rock Creek to Eldamain Road. The project began east of Lew Street in Plano, Illinois, and extended to west of Eldamain Road for two miles.

Project Scope

The improvements consisted of reconstructing an existing one-lane roadway in each direction to two lanes in each direction, divided by a new concrete median and a curb and gutter system.

Other project improvements included bridge widening at Big Rock Creek, crossroad reconstruction, and shared-use path construction.
